At Emaloe's Thingys, every item is thoughtfully handmade in Chicago. Because many of our products are made to order or created in small batches, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.

Returns & Refunds

All sales are considered final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds except when an item arrives damaged, is defective due to workmanship, or if we made an error with your order.

If you experience a problem with your order, please contact us at info@emaloesthingys.com within 14 days of delivery. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label so we can review your request.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, has a craftsmanship defect, or you receive the wrong item, we'll work with you to make it right.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer one of the following:

• A replacement item
• A repair (when appropriate)
• Store credit
• A refund (only if required by applicable law)

The resolution offered is determined on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Emaloe's Thingys.

Store Credit

When store credit is offered, it will be issued as a digital gift card or store credit code that can be redeemed on future purchases at www.emaloesthingys.com.

Store credit:

• Has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Is non-transferable.
• May not be combined with another compensation issued for the same order.
• Does not expire unless required by applicable law.

Exchanges

Exchanges are offered only in limited circumstances for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

If an exchange is approved:

• Items must be unused and returned in their original packaging.
• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the exchange is due to our error.
• Emaloe's Thingys reserves the right to refuse an exchange if the returned item has been used, altered, or damaged after delivery.

Before You Order

We want you to love your purchase! Please review product descriptions, dimensions, materials, and photos before placing your order.

Size

Approximate measurements are listed on each product page to help you determine the size of each handmade piece. If you have questions before ordering, we're always happy to help.

Color

We photograph our products as accurately as possible using natural lighting whenever available. However, colors may vary slightly depending on your screen, device settings, and lighting conditions.

Handmade Variations

Each item is individually handcrafted. Slight variations in color, bead placement, wire wrapping, shape, texture, and other small details are a natural part of handmade artistry and are not considered defects.

Repairs

If one of your Emaloe's Thingys creations becomes damaged during normal use, please contact us. While accidental damage isn't covered under this policy, we'll gladly discuss available repair options whenever possible.

Processing Times

At Emaloe's Thingys, every piece is thoughtfully handmade in Chicago. Many items are made to order or created in small batches to ensure the highest quality.

• Ready-to-ship and small-batch items: Please allow 5–7 business days for order processing before shipment.
• Custom orders: Please allow 7–14 business days for creation and processing.

Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier.

Free Shipping

We offer FREE U.S. shipping on orders of $40 or more.

Shipping & Delivery

Once your package has been accepted by the shipping carrier (such as USPS), delivery is outside of our control. While estimated delivery dates are provided by the carrier, they are not guaranteed. Emaloe's Thingys is not responsible for shipping delays caused by weather, carrier issues, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Lost, Missing, or Stolen Packages

If your package appears to be lost in transit, please contact the shipping carrier as soon as possible to open an investigation and obtain a case or incident number. You may also contact us so we can assist where possible.

If tracking shows your package as Delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend:

• Checking around your delivery location and with household members or neighbors.
• Contacting your local post office for additional delivery information.
• Reporting stolen packages to your local law enforcement, if applicable.

Since we are a small handmade business, refunds are not available for lost or stolen packages. After the carrier's investigation is complete, Emaloe's Thingys may, at our sole discretion, offer a replacement if appropriate. Replacements are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label so we can help resolve the issue.

Emaloe's Thingys does not sell your personal information to third parties.

We only share your information with trusted service providers (such as Shopify and payment processors) when necessary to operate our business, process payments, fulfill orders, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, or when you have provided your consent.

We will only send promotional emails if you have chosen to subscribe to our mailing list. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email.

Many products contain glass, wire, magnets, metal components, or small parts and are intended for decorative use unless otherwise stated. Products are not toys and should be kept out of reach of young children and pets. Customers are responsible for using and displaying products safely.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. Because each item is handmade, slight variations in color, shape, size, wire placement, glass, and other details are natural and make every piece one of a kind. These variations are not considered defects. Product photographs are taken in natural lighting whenever possible. Colors and crystal effects may appear differently depending on lighting conditions and your device's display settings. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. 

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
