Making Weird Little Things with Big Heart - Permission to Play
Share
Ever feel like you need a *reason* to be yourself?
Like there has to be an explanation for why you dyed your hair aqua, or rearranged your bookshelf by rainbow colors, or cried over a song that hit just a little too hard?
You don’t.
You don’t need a reason to sing in the shower, wear clashing colors, dance like a goblin in your kitchen, or cover your water bottle in frog stickers and glitter. You don’t need to justify why your living room looks like an art supply store exploded. Or why you collect tiny ceramic animals. Or why you spent 3 hours carefully painting stars on your wall. You don’t need to brand your joy. You just get to have it.
Your Weird Is Wonderful

This blog isn’t just about making jewelry or crafts. It’s about making space—for you. The full you. The shy you, the loud you, the neurodivergent you, the sparkly disaster goblin you. The you who talks to plants. The you who cries watching animated movies. The you who wants to paint your front door teal, wear a tutu to brunch, or turn your bathroom into a mini jungle.
There’s no prize for being “normal.”
But there is freedom—wild, glittering freedom—in letting yourself be fully expressed.

Sometimes joy looks like loud laughter. Sometimes it’s soft and sensory—petting your cat, wearing socks that feel like hugs, sipping a drink with the perfect ice cubes. Sometimes it’s color. Sometimes it’s chaos. Sometimes it’s weird little things that no one else gets.
You don’t need a perfect house, a matching wardrobe, or a minimalist Instagram aesthetic to be worthy.
You don’t need your space or your style or your self-expression to make sense to anyone but you.

You Have Permission
You have full, cosmic, zero-approval-needed permission to:
- Unmask
- Paint your nails five different colors
- Get that tattoo you've always wanted
- Buy that stuffed animal
- Build a collage of things that make you feel alive
- Sing loudly, even off-key
- Cry when something is beautiful (or heart breakingly sad...don't hide it all in)
- Say “this feels like me” and mean it, even if it’s just a pair of earrings, a silly mug, or a rainbow curtain
This is your sign to EMBRACE ALL OF YOU - make weird little things, collect weird little things, wear weird little things, say weird little things—and know that none of it needs to be productive, profitable, or popular.
It just needs to be yours.
So go ahead. Dance weird. Laugh big. Express loud.
Unmask, reveal all of you - embrace all things that bring you joy!
